Bomoh charged with committing unnatural sex
A bomoh (traditional medicine man) was charged in two different courts in Seremban today with committing unnatural sex on a 26-year-old woman, while his wife was charged with abetting him in all the charges.

In the Sessions Court, Mohd Rashid Mohd Din, 58, pleaded not guilty and claimed trial to a charge of having sexual connection with the woman by inserting his fingers into her vagina.
The offence was allegedly committed at a house in Gedung Lalang, Ampangan in Seremban, between 2.30 pm and 7 pm last Sept 20.
The charge, under Section 377CA of the Penal Code, is punishable with imprisonment for up to 20 years and shall also be liable to whipping, if found guilty.
Judge Jagjit Singh Bant Singh allowed Mohd Rashid bail of RM15,000 in one surety.
Mohd Rashid’s wife, Noralia Daie, 51, who was charged in the same court with abetting him, was allowed bail of RM8,000 in one surety.
Deputy public prosecutor Muhammad Abu Hassan Ramli prosecuted in the case.
Meanwhile, in the Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Siti Kahiriah Abd Razak, Mohd Rashid was charged with assaulting the woman with intent to outrage her modesty at the same place, date and time.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge, under Section 354 of the Penal Code, which provided a maximum imprisonment for 10 years, or with fine, or with whipping, or with any two of such punishments, if found guilty.
Noralia was charged with abetting him in the act.
Siti Kahiriah allowed Abd Razak and his wife bail of RM7,800 and RM3,600 in one surety each, respectively.
The prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Kaiyisah Shukri.
Mohd Rashid was also charged in another Magistrate’s Court with committing gross indecency on the woman at the same place, date and time.
He faced a maximum imprisonment for two years if found guilty for the offence, made under 377D of the penal Code.
Magistrate Mohamad Izwan Mohamed Noh allowed Mohd Rashid bail of RM2,800 in one surety.
Deputy public prosecutor Nabilah Mohammad Zanudin prosecuted in the case.
Lawyer A Partheeban represented the couple in all the cases, which had been fixed for mention on Oct 27.
