PPP Youth chief, vice-chiefs returned unopposed
Nominations held today for the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) Youth elections saw the incumbents returned unopposed for the post of chief and the three posts of vice-chief.
Nominations held today for the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) Youth elections saw the incumbents returned unopposed for the post of chief and the three posts of vice-chief.
Harridz Mohan was returned unopposed as chief for a third term while Meshach Jedidiah Varunamegam, Nor Azlie Abdul Rahman and Tan Kin Min were returned unopposed to the posts of vice-chief.
Their elections were announced by PPP president M Kayveas after the two-hour nominations closed at Wisma PPP in Kuala Lumpur.
Kayveas also said that 26 nominations had been received for the 20 posts of PPP Youth committee member. Voting will be held on Nov 2 during the PPP Youth annual general meeting.
Meanwhile, Harridz attributed his victory today to the solidarity and cooperation among the members as well as the trust and confidence in the top leadership of the party.
The nominations were held smoothly. PPP senior vice-president Maglin Dennis D’Cruz and Deputy Federal Territories Minister Dr J Loga Bala Mohan were present.
