Obama told to target M'sia in defending democracy

Leading American daily Washington Post has reminded President Barack Obama that his call at the United Nations to defend democracy worldwide should start with Malaysia.

 

Recalling the president's speech at the UN in September a month before Malaysia was accepted into the ranks of the UN Security Council , the daily said to date Obama's talk of "an even stronger campaign" to defend countries with “relentless crackdowns” has but remained words.
