Loyalist on defensive on attacks against Hadi

PAS central committee member Nasruddin Hasan has vowed to “defend” PAS and its president following DAP’s repeated attacks of late.
Responding directly to DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, Nasruddin questioned why Lim is allowed to make such open remarks about PAS when his criticism against his own party has been censured by observers.
“If I answer, then there will be some who will accuse me of internal brawling, but look at what the DAP leadership is doing. It has yet to cease.
“So I apologise in advance if after this, I appear firm in defending the integrity of our leadership and party,” the Temerloh MP said in a Facebook posting late yesterday.
He was referring Lim’s speech on Sunday, where he landed veiled jabs at PAS by saying that DAP is at a loss as to how to deal with a party where presidents can overrule central committee decisions.
Lim said that such partners, who “do not walk the talk” are a threat to Pakatan Rakyat’s survival.
On Sunday, Lim at a DAP fundraiser on Monday had openly complained that the PAS president was always absent from Pakatan leadership meetings.
This, he said, hinders the coalition from making big decisions, as any decision made by Hadi’s lieutenants who attend the meeting on his behalf is not final.
