Loan for breeding cows, not cow-dominums
YOURSAY ‘NFC, what were the reasons for the 'vicious attacks'?’
NFC says it was profitable until 'vicious attacks'
CQ Muar: This goes to show how weak and vulnerable those who managed the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC), which is an outstanding and typical example of a Malay entrepreneur failing miserably right from the start.
The justification presented by communication consultant Ghazalie Abdullah was a farce - just admit that NFC was a "front" with the intention of getting wealthy.
Their alleged deceitful scheme tantamount to breach of trust, hence their avarice and greed must be accounted for and brought to book at all cost.
Odin: And NFC, what were the reasons for the 'vicious attacks'? Were they made because you succeeded in raising enough cattle as you should have? Or were they made due to some other reason?
Tommy: When the government dispensed the money for breeding cow, it was meant for breeding cows only. It’s not for breeding cow-dominium.
Didn't the NFC CEO admit it was more profitable breeding cow-dominium? Is there any agreement saying that the money can be used for other purposes?
Is there any agreement saying a certain percentage will be given to the government?
Tailek: If you didn't use the money to buy luxury condos and cars, you will have plenty of money left to conduct real business. So don't think the public is stupid and gullible.
Avatar_2397: The NFC culprits don't even have the balls to answer questions themselves, but farm out the job to a PR (public relations) consultant.
When did NFC create this ‘chief communication consultant’ position and how much does it pay?
Odysseus: It sounds like the cows are offended after hearing the vicious attack on the bosses of NFC that they refuses to produce milk and mate to produce offspring.
Luckily, we are not told that some committed suicide by jumping off the condo. Thank god for that.

Zam: No vocal defenders of Islam in Umno
Vijay47: One sentence, two very telling revelations. That's quite an achievement, (former information minister) Zainuddin Maidin, especially coming from a person of your intellect.
First, you lament that there are no vocal defenders of Islam in Umno. This could be due to the simple fact that there is no one in Umno even the least worthy to protect and project Islam.
You condemn Sports and Youth Minister Khairy Jamaluddin for not speaking out against events totally acceptable to any sane person and then you hold up Perkasa as beacons of Islamic thought and conduct.
If Perkasa and no doubt Isma are the best you can scavenge to represent your religion, I hardly need to add to the argument.
As is to be expected, you speak of non-Muslim and Christian fanatics. Pardon our ignorance, but please name a single person in either category who had made an extremist or incendiary demand.
I do not think that your brother, Ridhuan Tee Abdullah, would want to be counted as a Christian.
Ipohcrite: I think someone forgot to update Zam that Umno had outsourced the functions of the dirty tricks department to Perkasa and its ilk. I guess Zam was out of the loop for far too long. Poor Zam!
Ksn: Zam, the people you are referring to defending Islam, if I may mention, like Perkasa, Isma, Zulkifli Noordin and other fanatics, are not defending Islam and the Malays but on the contrary defaming Islam and the Malays as being intolerant, have no respect for other people and religions.
PM Najib Razak, on his part, talks about moderation but he does not take action against the extremists to walk his talk. Get it, Zam?
Bumiputhran: The Muslims should not forget that they are living in a borderless global world. A country's wealth and economy is reliant on the goodwill of the wider world.
Now with Isis (Islamic State) creating so much hatred against Muslims, Malaysians has to work harder to retain the goodwill of the rest of the world.
Oh Ya?: "Non-Muslims and Christain fanatics take the opportunity to exploit the moderation concept for their own interests," said Zainuddin.
Prove it or the ruling elite should charge him for sedition.
Fair Play: Now, why would Islam need protection from Umno? Is not Islam is enshrined in the constitution as the religion of the federation and the respective sultan is the head of Islam in their respective state?
So, Zam, who are you trying to kid - the less informed Muslim Malaysians and the extremist right groups or individuals?
Msian1st: Perkasa defend Islam? What Perkasa is doing is more like creating animosity between Muslims and non-Muslims by using Islam.
