Ten Penang BN assemblypersons decided to boycott today's state assembly sitting as they are upset with Sungai Puyu assemblyperson Phee Boon Poh.

They feel he using it to raise petty issues and confuse the people.

Opposition leader Jahara Hamid (BN-Telok Air Tawar) was reported in Utusan Malaysia that she and other BN assemblypersons decided to miss Phee’s winding up speech over the 2015 Supply Bill. He is also the state exco for welfare, environment and community.

"On Tuesday, I raised the issue of the cleanliness of pigsties in the state but Phee ( left ) questioned if I was preventing the Chinese from consuming the animal.

"But my questions were not on their right to eat the animal but on the sties," she was quoted as saying by the daily.

She added that the BN assemblypersons were boycotting Phee as they did not want to see the assembly abused and used to confuse the public.
