Traffic congestion is reported on both directions of the North-South Expressway between Behrang and Tanjung Malim since 7pm yesterday due to flash floods.

A spokesperson for Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (Plus) said the roads were inaccessible from 7pm to 9pm.

“At at 9pm, only the right lane in both directions were opened,” he told Bernama in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

He said vehicles in both the directions were moving slowly.

Meanwhile, Plus, through its Twitter account at about 7.50pm, stated the stretch at Km395.3 to 395.4 (Behrang-Tg Malim) in both directions were closed.

Later, at 9.18pm, it reported a median opening at Km394.4 for southbound traffic.
