Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) today denied that it had selected seven lucky email recipients who had won a cash prize of RM150,000.

TNB senior general manager (corporate affairs and communications) Ir Mohd Aminuddin Mohd Amin said TNB had lodged a complaint on the matter to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for further action to be taken.

All communications via email by TNB were carried out using the company’s email address and not using email addresses such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook.my and so on, he said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur.
