Therefore, the Kinatabangan MP is curious as to why the matter is horrifying to some, when Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has stated the law would not be used to stifle the opposition.
"Why must there be fear and concern over the Act? Those who do not instigate should not fear it. Only those who instigate and incite would be prosecuted.
"Without the Act, the nation might plunge into chaos when the social media is misused to spread slander as well as raising religious and personal matters
"This would surely create tension and pandemonium," he told Umno Online .
Bung claimed that the people at large still want the Act to stay to ensure harmony.
