The Terengganu government will introduce 'The Most Beautiful Cow' contest next year to give added value to to cattle and encourage breeders to be more serious about the cattle business.

The state execuitve councillor Nawi Mohamad said the contest would be held at district and the state level in two categories - cows and bulls.

"The final will be held on the state-level Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen's Day," he said when winding up debate on the state's budget for next year at the state assembly sitting today.

He added that attractive prizes awaited the winners.
