A total of 18 areas in Petaling and Kuala Lumpur will experience disruption in water supply on Tuesday due to work to replace valves.

According to a statement from Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, eight areas in Petaling would have water supply disrupted from 10am to 7pm because of work to replace butterfly valves at the Kolam Menara Tasik Prima Puchong.

The affected areas are Tasik Prima 1 to 4; Puchong Utama 7; Prima Biz Hub; Lake Belva and Seri Pelangi Apartments.

The disruption in water supply in Kuala Lumpur would be from 8pm on Tuesday to 6am the next morning due to work to replace valves at the Inlet Compartment D, Pudu Hulu Baru.

The affected areas are Pantai Hospital, Cheras; Pandan Indah Mosque; Taman Cheras Utama; Pandan Perdana; Pandan Komersial; Pandan Indah; Cheras Indah; Jalan Pandan Utama; Taman Maju Jaya and Pandan Mewah.

Consumers are advised to store sufficient water for the duration of the disruption.
