The flood situation in several areas in the state is almost back to normal except for the Dungun district which was still relatively unchanged.

According to the portal of the National Security Council (MKN) Terengganu, there were still 4,375 flood victims in the state at 7pm compared with 5,520 victims this afternoon.

Of the total, Dungun recorded the highest number of evacuees with 2,107 victims staying at 16 relief centres, followed by Kemaman with 904 victims (10 centres) and Besut 579 victims (15 centres).

 

Meanwhile in Hulu Terengganu, there were 211 evacuees (three centres), Kuala Terengganu 521 evacuees (four centres), Marang 36 evacuees (one centre) and Setiu 22 evacuees (two centres).
