YOURSAY ‘There is a saying, an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’
Ipoh coffee uncle found, and he's not Chin Peng
CQ Muar:
I suggest we scout for someone who resembles Chin Peng, take a picture of the person and get artist Ernest Zacharevic to paint a mural of it.
Let's then see what this nincompoop Mior Azman Mior Aris and other like-minded idiots have to say. Why are there still people so unprogressive, stagnated and backward? Don't they ever grow up?
Their grey matter must have stopped functioning, and their mentality is obviously retarded and in a state of inertia.
I can't blame former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad for making such derogatory comments about the race. It is indeed a poor reflection of those moderate and brilliant Malays like the Eminent 25.
Louis: Mior Azman, the joke is on you. There is a saying, an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. I think you have too much time idling, and as such you are full of devilish thought.
My advice to you is to keep yourself busy by reading lots of books. Otherwise you might see Hitler if a portrait of a moustachioed man appears on the wall.
Guna Otak: Malaysians are seeing ghosts everywhere. Why? Groups like Perkasa, Isma or individuals like Ridhuan Tee Abdullah are conjuring up all these ghouls and conditioning Malaysians.
Sad to say, many people are falling for such crap due to their insecurities.
Voice: It is good that the truth has been revealed. But this is not important.
The most important is that when compared to the picture of Chin Peng, which has been shown in the media the last few years before he died, and the mural uncle, both are totally different.
It looks like Mior Azman has a bad intention to create a fuss over the matter. Unless he can prove his claim with evidence, he should at least apologise to Lim Chai family.
Odysseus: I wonder if Mior Azman has ever met Chin Peng in person. Perhaps, he is just like one of those Perkasa or Isma guys who want their one minute of fame.
Let the issue rest and focus on helping the flood victims. May I suggest Mior Azman files a complaint that the BN government does not have an effective rescue plan for such a calamity.
Ferdtan: We want to see the photo of the troublemaker, Ipoh resident Mior Azman, who obviously wants to incite the fear of communism with nuances of racialism without any iota of proof.
We cannot let him go so easily. We need to know who this Ipoh resident is. He needs to be taught a lesson for making a wild accusation.
One look at the controversial drawing we know it is not a photo of Chin Peng. It is so easy to find Chin Peng’s photos so we wonder why this controversy reached this stage.
Mior Azman must apologise to all Malaysians for his stupidity and callous accusation.
AkuMelayu-tetapi ABU Jugak: Check out the candidates for Sungai Rapat state seat in Perak in GE13.
There is a Mior Azman Aminuddin Mior Aris , an Independent candidate, who got only 333 votes.
Hearty Malaysian: Either Mior Azman is poor in history, watches too many Malay ghost movies, or he sees every shadow as a ghost due to psychiatric problems.
If he was the state assembly candidate for Sungai Rapat, then it’s likely he tried to politicise the matter as the mural figure is a Chinese uncle.
One thing for sure: not every Chinese uncle is Ching Peng or an ex-communist.
It is time Malaysians have respect for one another instead of living in fear. It is time the moderate and more confident Malays like the Eminent 25 lead the Malays and stand up to people like Mior Azman.
Wong Lu Shin: The fact that a so-called newspaper simply took the word of someone without any further research just goes to show its low quality.
BH Yap: The Malays need to put behind them their fear of Chin Peng and communism. In this era, Chin Peng and communism are no longer a threat and they are no longer meaningful to anyone as before.
There is no need to see shadows when there is none. Even if there is, it remains only a shadow and not a monster.
Dr Jacob George: We have a new generation of absolute idiots who know not the history of the nation but continue to fabricate and spin, despite knowing that it is worsening an already fragmented and polarised Malaysia.
Vgeorgemy: Their objection is nothing about Chin Peng but the mural of a Chinese face. It’s their only way to say that all Chinese old guys look like Chin Peng.
