Total damage is estimated to be an overwhelming RM932.4 million, Berita Harian reported him as saying in Kota Bharu today.
He said this after a closed door meeting with Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob at the MB’s office in Kompleks Kota Darulnaim.
Also present at the 50-minute meeting was Kelantan flood disaster special committee chairperson Mustapa Mohamed and National Security Council (NSC) secretary Thajudeen Abdul Wahab, Bernama reported.
Muhyiddin is in Kelantan for a one-day post-flood visit and chaired a state post-flood coordination meeting at Sutera Inn Prima at 2pm.
The flood displaced at least 100,000 in Kelantan at its height, but the number of evacuees have dwindled to about 5,000 today the NSC said as victims return to what remain of their homes.
