Rafizi ruined my projects, family, says NFC boss

Sirach: If the allegations made by PKR vice-president and Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli are not true, National Feedlot Corporation Sdn Bhd (NFC Corp) chief executive officer Mohamad Salleh Ismail has nothing to worry about and he should easily win this defamation suit.

 

But he and his dear wife were unable to give credible replies to the allegations Rafizi raised. Why else would his wife resign as a minister and he and his children relinquish their richly remunerated jobs in NFC?

 

Perhaps it's not the allegations but the truth which has "ruined his family". We'll wait and see.

 

Guns 'n' Roses: Salleh, Rafizi did not destroy your NFC project and ruined your family. You, your wife and your children did it purely due to alleged mismanagement, abuse of power and criminal breach of trust.

 

So, when will you be paying back the government's ‘soft’ loan, which is taxpayers' money? By the way, I am a taxpayer.

 

Odysseus: If there is no basis to Rafizi's claim which was followed by multiple police reports, why would the BN compliant police seize your properties?

 

Perhaps, Salleh should do some soul searching. Could it be his wife’s own party, Umno, that was the one behind all this exposure that led to the demise of her political career.

 

He must have known there are many more scandals which survived multiple exposes, but not NFC. Think, Salleh.

 

Mushiro: There is no reason for Rafizi to nail Salleh, an unknown, or NFC. Rafizi wanted to expose Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Umno and the government for its RM250 million loan to an unqualified and inexperienced Salleh.

 

Why should the NFC business fail because of Rafizi's exposure? Look at the fat pay offered by NFC to all the children of Shahrizat and the perks.

 

Why was NFC's RM71.4 million parked in Salleh's personal account, irrespective of whether he used it or not?

 

This is a typical Umno business venture where as soon as the government loan is banked into their account, these people draw down the money to be blown away.

 

CQ Muar: Salleh, so you accused Rafizi for ruining your projects and family? My word, you sure have (cow)hide for skin having the audacity to make such a shameless claim.

 

Did you and your former minister wife (Shahrizat) actually think you could escape undetected just like all other Umnoputra kind did? Did you for a moment thought everyone was blind and ignorant for the crimes committed?

 

Only this time, we are grateful saudara Rafizi was on God's mission to nail and expose you. Without any experience and any inkling like cow-rearing, that you could manoeuvre and scheme your way to raise such a whopping and astronomical sum of RM250 million was indeed a feat of sort.

 

But alas, your evil scheme, plan and avarice gave you away, purchasing those super high-end projects. As your wife is a former lawyer, she ought to know that nobody is above the law, therefore, all eyes are on you how you will manoeuvre out of this big-time swindling.

 

Salleh, purchasing all those high-end and expensive properties within such short time frame was anything but wise.

 

With people like you, this country will eventually be ruined and destroyed.

 

Malaysian 53: Return the taxpayers money then you can talk. Why is the attorney-general (AG) taking out a CBT (criminal breach of trust) case against you?

 

Why did you buy condos in Bangsar and Singapore? Why were there not enough cows for all the money you borrowed from Finance Ministry?

 

Well, we all need somebody to blamem but Rafizi did not make up all these allegations. He had hard facts which you can try to challenge.

 

Dizzer: The issue, folks, is whether Rafizi was correct to make the specific allegation regarding the funds for loans for eight eco-city condos.

 

If he can't prove it, he could be in trouble no matter that the general expose looks pretty justified.

 

The authorities will always seek to give whistleblowers the hardest possible time - and it's even worse in countries that actually matter, for example, Edward Snowdon, Julian Assange,  Bradley Manning, George Galloway, etc.

 

Dalvik: Salleh, while it is a debate of whether Rafizi had ruined your business for good cause, but one thing for sure: You had misused and wasted taxpayers' money outside the scope of cow-breeding project.

 

Odin: I absolutely agree. Rafizi is really one pesky, naughty lil fella.

 

Had he not misbehaved himself, this potentially-successful cattle breeder could have by now bought a Maybach in addition to the Merc CLS, a dozen or more posh condominiums - perhaps a half-dozen in the US to keep up with the film-making Malaysian Joneses, you know? - tracts of prime land all over the world, give each of his children a couple of hundred grand a month in salary and unlimited expense account, etc.

 

I feel so sorry for this poor, innocent victim of his. Now pass me the whole box of tissue, please. Buckets of tears are springing outa mah eyes.
