I never wrote to FBI, confirms Syed Hamid

Dont Just Talk: Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, please step down as home minister because you have again lied to Malaysians by saying that your predecessors had written letters to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the past.

 

Former home minister Syed Hamid Albar has denied this and so did Hishammuddin Hussein .

 

Who was your predecessor who wrote to the FBI to vouch for an alleged criminal?

 

Next time when you want to lie, Zahid, please support it with some facts in case you are challenged.

 

Odin: Zahid did not say that his predecessors had written a letter or letters to the FBI. He only said that his predecessors had written similar letters.

 

They are two completely different things. What he said and implied was that his predecessors had also written letters to foreign authorities - whatever they might be - to vouch for suspects held by them (those authorities) and to request their release and repatriation to Malaysia.

 

Louis: Zahid, you are the one and only home minister in the whole universe who writes to FBI vouching for an alleged international gambling kingpin.

 

Not only that, you are also the only one who use a dubious figure to help with the country's national security projects. A fool you must be, trusting the country's security to a gambler.

 

Yes, finally like a drowning man clutching at a straw, you try to justify your despicable act by citing precedence of writing to FBI, which was instantly denied by your predecessors.

 

The only way out is for you to resign.

 

Anonymous$&@?: The US Embassy and other foreign diplomats in Kuala Lumpur are well aware of the real picture.

 

Now they can add further comments in their dossier on our home minister.

For the sake of balance, we should look at some of the things you did write. Like the list of so-called exclusively Islamic words that only Muslims can use.

Maybe you never wrote to the FBI but you are the cause of the religious problems we are now facing.

Appum: The trouble is, Syed Hamid, this government under the present prime minister does not know how to show he can make decisions, especially on very important decisions on very important issues.

 

He just keeps silent and keeps going overseas even when the nation needs him around. This nation is as if it is on auto-cruise.

 

This auto cruise to defeat for Umno-BN in the next GE will definitely have great and serious implications on these two men (former finance minister Daim Zainuddin and Mahathir) when the time comes.

 

That is why they need to save Umno-BN with all their efforts. It looks like they are not confident that Najib is able and capable to protect their gains and their turf.

Yes, Anwar, the very person that Najib has been trying to bring down as soon as Najib became the deputy Umno president and thus the deputy prime minister.

 

Anwar is very relevant for Najib's survival now. However, the majority rakyat wants Anwar to be the next coming prime minister through the PKR-Pakatan Rakyat fold.

Now all his mouthpieces, former newsmen A Kadir Jasin, Zainuddun Maidin, and Daim are lining up to spew their criticisms toward Najib.

 

This is simply reflects their ungratefulness towards Abdul Razak.

 

Lim Chong Leong; Syed Hamid said there are times when the government can make its own decisions.
