Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar has again opened fire on Twitter , this time over a posting concerning Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. 
 
He tweeted tweeted an instruction to the police cyber crimes unit, urging them to locate and investigate a Twitter user with the handle @ollie_mollie.
 
In an attached screenshot, @ollie_mollie was depicted responding to a post by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's tweet yesterday where he expressed sympathy for family members of those on board Flight MH370.
 
"jib jib... It's not an accident. It's a conspiracy," wrote @ollie_mollie.
 
That short post alone was enough to prompt the police chief, who has often been criticised for jumping the gun on what detractors claim as innocuous tweets, to call for an investigation.
 
In a text message to Malaysiakini , Khalid said that the twitter user's message was "disturbing" and had "bad intentions". 
 
"We are trying to calm down the next-of-kin. So if you don't know what's really going on with MH370, don’t just shoot your mouth off and say something senseless which is uncorroborated by evidence," he said.

Twitter account deleted?

 
It is learnt that the police will hand the matter over to MCMC for investigations and at the time of writing, @ollie_mollie's Twitter page could no longer be accessed.
 
Yesterday, the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) declared MH370 as an "accident" and that all of its 239 passengers and crew were presumed dead.
 
The plane’s disappearance since March last year has been described as one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history and set the stage for numerous conspiracy theories.
 
Previously, Khalid had been criticised for ordering investigations against a Twitter user who called him "Henrich Himmler of Malaysia".
