The hot and dry weather in most areas, especially in the north of the west coast of the peninsula, is expected to continue until the end of March.

   

The Meteorological Department - in a statement today - said this was in line with the beginning of the transition season at the end of next month that would bring more rain.

   

The country is at the end of the north-easterly monsoon, where there is less rain in most areas for a long period - resulting in hot and dry weather.
