Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah today presented the instruments of appointment to four individuals as Federal Court judge, Appeals Court judge and High Court judges.

Zaharah Ibrahim and Zamani A Rahim received their instruments of appointment as Federal Court judge and Court of Appeal judge respectively.

Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera and Douglas Cristo Primus Sikayun received theirs as High Court judges.

Also present at the ceremony were Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria, Court of Appeal president Md Raus Sharif, Chief Judge of Malaya Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin and Chief Judge of Sabah dan Sarawak Richard Malanjum.

The oath-taking ceremony for the four judges who received their instruments today is scheduled to take place at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya this evening.
