The police are investigating a video which depicted four masked men who claim that they will set off "fireworks" at a courthouse on Wednesday.

When contacted, inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said the police are taking the threat seriously.

"We do not discount the possibility of this being a hoax. Nevertheless, we are taking the threat seriously and those responsible for the video will face action," he said when contacted.

The minute long video features the four men posing with four bottles which appear to be Molotov Cocktails.

One of the men claimed that they represent Malaysian youths who have lost confidence in democracy and will set off fireworks at a courthouse at 11.30pm on the mentioned date.

However, the video contained obvious clues that the video is an obvious prank.

Actress to lodge report

Firstly, the narrator was reading off a piece of paper with actress Nora Danish's face printed on the underside.

Secondly, the video uploader used the handle "Isis Malaysia 69".

In a related development, Nora said that they will make a police report for depicting her in the video.

"I watched the video. They clearly didn't mention me and the monologue didn't involve me.

"I was only featured on that piece of paper they were holding. I don't want to say more, other than I will lodge a police report shortly," said Nora, according to Berita Harian Online .

Nora is reportedly romantically linked with Nedim Nazri, the son of Tourism Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz.
