Police Inspector-General Khalid Abu Bakar warned the public from joining the “Kita Lawan” rally in solidarity with jailed Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim or face action.

The mega rally is scheduled on Mar 7 in Kuala Lumpur, with smaller rallies taking place nationwide in the lead up the Kuala Lumpur event.

“I want to remind those organising gatherings and rallies that we will not sit still and that we will take action,” he told a reporters at Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

He also advised youths to understand the concept of judicial independence, respect the court's verdict and to not get to emotional by demonstrating in the streets.
