A clouded leopard was found wandering at a construction site in Sungai Dua in Butterworth yesterday, before it was caught by some workers and handed over to firemen.

Penang Fire and Rescue Department deputy director, Mohd Shoki Hamzah, when contacted today, said the clouded leopard was caught by a group of foreign workers at the construction site.

“The animal was said to be thin and believed to be so hungry that it wandered into the open area,” he said.

The clouded leopard was sent to Taiping Zoo last night.
