Najib marries off daughter in ceremony at home
The 'akad nikah' of the prime minister's daughter, Nooryana Najwa and her partner, Daniyar Kessikbayev proceeded smoothly at Seri Perdana Thursday tonight.

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak himself performed the marriage solemnisation ceremony.
Daniyar uttered the marriage vow once in Malay.
The prime minister's younger brother, Ahmad Johari and Mohamed Nizam, witnessed the ceremony.
The Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tuanku Hajjah Haminah consented to attend the function which started at 9pm.
Also present were the Sultan and Sultanah of Pahang, the Raja Perempuan of Perlis, Sultanah of Terengganu and Sultan and Raja Permaisuri of Perak.
Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and wife, Norainee Abdul Rahman and cabinet ministers were also present.
Also present were the mother of the prime minister, Rahah Mohd Noah and close relatives of both the bride and groom.
Also present was the wife of the Indonesian Vice-President, Ibu Mufidah.
Before the solemnisation ceremony, the marriage sermon was read by Malaysian Islamic Development Department principle assistant director, Sirajuddin Suhaimi.
The 'takliq' was read by Daniyar after completing the pronouncement of marriage before the chief imam of Putra Mosque, Putrajaya Abd Manaf Mat, whom prior to that read the doa.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Jamil Khir Baharom acted as spokesman representing the family of the bride while the spokesman of the family of the groom was represented by Rais Yatim.
After shaking hands with his father-in-law and witnesses, Daniyar who is from Kazakhstan, then performed 'sunat' prayers.
This was followed by the 'batal wudhu' ceremony and putting on the rings for both bride and groom.
The sprinkling ceremony for the couple was started by Rahah, followed by Daniyar's family members including his mother, Maira Kurmangalieva and followed by the prime minister and wife, Rosmah Mansor.
Nooryana Najwa, 27, got to know Daniyar, 27, when both were studying in the United States.
