YOURSAY ‘Such ostentatious display of loyalty to Najib. What more can we say?’

We're with you all the way, BN leaders tell PM

Anonymous_1421406986: Call these leaders by any name, it does not matter. These are people who have been working closely with the PM and they know him better than the rest.

They will also be the first to instantly leave if they know the PM is guilty of the many accusations brought against him. They want to save their parties and reputation.

Assuming the PM is guilty of some of the serious accusations, even the inspector-general of police (IGP), attorney-general (AG), chief justice, army chief and the entire cabinet will have to account for their inaction.

They will be as guilty as the PM, for in some cases national security and well-being may have been compromised.

Why must these people stay silent if they are aware of crimes being committed, and later made to suffer for colluding with the PM?

Dingy: BN doesn’t have two-thirds majority. Hence the hudud bill will never pass in Parliament as it requires the amendment of the Federal Constitution (where two-thirds majority is needed).

Now with this pledge for PM Najib Razak, all BN MPs plus PAS would get the two-thirds majority. Hence the constitution would be amended to allow hudud to be implemented.

These leaders are betrayers of the nation knowing full well of Najib's ill-intention - that is to weaken Pakatan Rakyat with hudud.

MingXiang: We know it's embarrassing, but we have to do this every now and then otherwise we lose our jobs.

However, once he is knocked off the perch - and this is a distinct possibility - we won't have anything flattering to say about him.

It is always like this in politics, but what to do? Life is short and we must ‘cari makan’.

CQ Muar: "When asked to comment about the hudud law amendments..." all the party leaders 'refused' to answer!

Such ostentatious display of loyalty to Najib. What more can we say; their future, hopes and aspirations are all entrenched, and Najib is their demi-God to wealth and prosperity.

For a lying and hypocritical MCA president like Liow Tiong Lai, someone from within the party should show him the exit. He is devoid of leadership material.

The voices of Chinese majority have spoken - demise for MCA come the next GE.

Odysseus: These BN leaders are politicians who will say what needs to be spoken.

They said similar things about Pak Lah (former PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi) too. Once someone new replaces Najib, they will be the first to swear loyalty to their new boss.

Vijay47: To quote PAS Penang deputy commissioner Mujahid Yusof "Wow!".  With nary a dissenting voice - a true Barisan surprise.

And in keeping with Liow’s unbridled devotion to his leader, I am sure that his next statement would be:

"We are a unified force in Barisan, and I must state unequivocally, even though I don't quite understand the word, that MCA stands solidly behind Umno in its mission to introduce hudud into Malaysia.

“Today Kelantan, tomorrow, the nation, and next, the world!'

Dhammika: All these BN component party leaders are just as corrupted and deluded. How can they openly support a leader who has so many scandals manifested in him?

He has not even challenge those scandals. They must be paid handsomely for this open support. You help me and I help you is the dictum.

Justice Pao: These apple-polishers seem to be saying one thing and doing exactly the opposite.

They said they would pull out of BN if hudud is supported by Umno and yet when Umno gave 100 percent support in Kelantan, they chickened out.

Commentable: Of course, they are with Najib all the way - enjoying the perks, that is. With the perks and the bread crumbs, Goods and Services Tax (GST) is sure to be a non-issue for this lot.

Enjoy it while you can, for all eyes will be on you.

J Ng: Najib cannot just rely on a show of hands supporting him. He must take action in reversing some of the price hikes.

Above all, he must postpone GST to a later stage. All the proposed hikes are going to be his 'political suicide'.

It will nullify all his handouts, such as the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M), etc. The low and middle incomes are going to suffer the most.

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will suffer and growth will be affected.

Sinan Belawan: The above picture is a reminder of the story of political corruption in ‘All the King’s Men’ by Robert P Warren.

Corrupt politics destroys nations. We must reject corrupt politics and all the King's men.
