A number of places in the Petaling and Hulu Langat districts experienced water disruption this morning due to a broken pipe at the Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant.

Syabas corporate communications and public affairs manager Priscilla Alfred said the affected areas in Petaling include Bandar Bukit Puchong, Puchong Utama, Taman Meranti Jaya, Bandar Puchong Jaya and USJ 1 to USJ 26.

“In Hulu Langat, areas affected will be Seksyen 4 Tambahan Bandar Baru Bangi, Kajang Impian, Taman Bangi Villa, Bandar Bukit Mahkota, Taman Bukit Permai and Taman Bangi Jaya,” Priscilla said in a statement yesterday.

According to the statement, repair works were being carried out and are expected to be completed by noon today.
