Suspended PKR member Badrul Hisham Shaharin has slammed a prominent lawmaker from his party for calling on former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad to help resolve the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) controversy.

“I am appalled with the statement made by a Pakatan Rakyat MP whom the media reported as openly asking for Mahathir to help in the 1MDB issue,” Badrul said at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.
