MCA, best get Najib to stand against hudud
FREE YOURSAY ‘Chong, what's wrong if the PM makes a statement now?’
MCA Youth: PM need not rush as BN rejects hudud
Ferdtan:
MCA Youth chief Chong Sin Woon asked, “Is there any organisation higher than BN supreme council?”
Isn’t it obvious to Mr ‘Wet-Behind-the-Ears’? The answer is yes, and it’s Umno. Umno do not need all the other BN parties before they make any decision.
In fact, even pro-Umno rightist NGOs such as Perkasa and Isma are ranked much higher in the eyes of Umno than any MCA leader, including its president.
Chong, are you supporting the implementation of hudud in this country? If not, you should join us to kill the issue once and for all by getting Najib to reject it in no uncertain term.
By letting Najib to wriggle away from making a hard decision on hudud, MCA is allowing the hudud issue to stay alive, to be reintroduced in future.
If that is so, then MCA is an accomplice, together with the ulama in PAS and Umno.
RCZ: If the BN supreme council has so much powers to speak for and on behalf of the PM, can it also ask the PM to explain the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal, the property his stepson owns and where his money came from, buddy Jho Low, and the new jet that has been purchased and refurbished at millions of ringgit.
Or is the BN supreme council not interested in the truth? The MCA running dog appears to have run again.
Anon1: Chong, a political party or a coalition of political parties does not have legal/constitutional basis to formulate national policies nor govern a country. It is the elected government that does so.
Has the government via the PM, or any person so authorised, made an official announcement on hudud? None. In fact, they have stated that the issue was not discussed in the cabinet to shut the mouths of certain ministers.
The BN supreme council is neither a government arm nor the cabinet. Go and learn the difference between a political party and government.
Justice Pao: Syed Ali Alhabshee of Cheras Umno told MCA and Gerakan to butt out of the hudud issue but we still have some running dogs in MCA not being able to understand what he was saying.
Mah Kau Fan: Chong, what's wrong if the PM makes a statement now? We look to politicians for leadership and it is precisely on such matters that leadership must be unequivocally demonstrated.
Your defence and rationale only confirms the likes of you and those in MCA have totally lost your bearings (in every sense of the word).
If you really have nothing to say, don't. You may then still have a few who might think you are intelligent.
Samurai: Chong, like other sleeping BN people, still think Malaysians are stupid and ignorant as in the 80s. We can think on our own. Najib has already earlier told PAS he was okay with hudud, and his own minister in his Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom said as much, and even went and formed a committee with PAS.
So Najib's stand is crystal clear to us, he is just too chicken to say it, and your pathetic president Liow Tiong Lai must be clinging to his feet to beg him not to say anything. Sad lot, you MCA are.
Kit P: The BN chairman has remained silent on hudud... so who can say BN is against hudud?
MCA Youth to Dr M: Where's the proof?
CQ Muar: This MCA Youth chief, otherwise known as ‘The Jaw’ (due to his protruding jaw) is making an opportunistic appearance to win brownie points and hoping to be conferred "datukship" or some goverment contracts.
Thus such are the ‘talents’ MCA has groomed over the 57 years, and still battling on despite Chinese rejection.
By criticising the former premier, he has conveniently forgotten how all those past MCA leaders who had profited and became multi-millionaires under the leadership of Mahathir.
Ericlcc: Everybody from BN including those from Sarawak are desperately trying very hard to get onto Najib's gravy train.
These BN carriers must have a premonition that this will indeed be the last gravy train. So hop on board and get as much out of it as you can.
I hope when Pakatan wins federal power, they will make sure that this gravy train will have a stop in Sungai Buloh.
Mushiro: Najib's answer to Sirul's claim that he was ordered to kill Altantuya was “utter rubbish”. Is this an acceptable answer? Surely it needs further investigation.
Diablo: It's because of Mahathir’s leadership in Umno that MCA has gain Chinese support those days and it is Najib’s leadership in Umno and his scandal in the submarine case that cause MCA to loss Chinese support and Abdullah to lose the prime minister’s post.
The MCA Youth chief still want Mahathir to show proof?
Lin Wenquan: To come to the defence of big brother is a debt to pay for the scraps thrown to them. When the old man is set to nail someone, he has all the 'sins' of the intended victim in his dossier, so to speak.
Trust me, he doesn't need to give statistics. His networking on the state of affairs in the nation is superior to what the authorities have. Like a good physician, he reads the pulse of the people.
The PM is treated by his coterie of advisers like a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed bulls**t. MCA, in its own interest, should stay clear of this latest broadside from TDM. It is an internal fight in Umno.
By all means, inflate your little egos about the 'significant' gains in recent by-elections when millions were pumped into the constituencies as inducement. The real test will be GE14.
TDM's diagnosis may yet prove to be prophetic of BN's demise.
