Protesters want Malaysiakini shut down

 

Odin : The fact that the demonstration lasted a mere 10 minutes clearly illustrated laziness, a half-hearted attempt, and simply a desire to gain some attention. They are nobodies, people who would remain unknown, insignificant and inconsequential till they expire.

 

And don't expect them to have any functioning beige matter between their ears, either. If they had it, they would have realised that certain Umno Baru-controlled newspapers have been sued and lost for spinning and fabricating stories, whereas Malaysiakini has not been subject to and suffered such an ignominious fate.

 

Gunnerrun : Wow, Malaysiakini can do all that they say, and still not be able to determine who the government of the day should be? These dropouts and losers had probably wanted to protest at the PM's Office, which is actually the one behind the goods and service tax (GST), dividing the people, confusing the people but they ended up at the wrong place.

 

Poor people, must have not have enough pocket money to go to Putrajaya because of the very much hiked-up taxi and bus rates.

 

Citizen With Conscience : Listen to me, all you fellows who protested in front of Malaysiakini office. Is holding up posters and banners some kind of a fashion show these days? You don’t have to tell me or any one of us what to read and not to read.

 

I suggest all you young people just go and do what you are supposed to do and that is to concentrate on your studies or if you are young and just got a job then learn how to excel and progress in life. Stop wasting your time. There may come a time when you may start protesting in front of Tenaga Nasional Berhad or Telekom Malaysia offices all because you failed to settle your bills.

 

One glance at you is enough to conclude you are all a disillusioned lot. Don’t waste your lives away. I don’t see any Malay girls there and that is because the Malay girls are a far more decent and sensible lot than any of you boys. Go and learn from the Malay girls. The girls are anytime better students, better staff and even better communicators and of course better-looking.

 

Fair&Just : For years we have stopped buying newspapers but willingly and freely without any coercion subscribed to Malaysiakini for quality news. We stopped buying newspapers only after discovering there could be differences in the truth of the news published.

 

Doc : Only 20 demonstrators! Suggest that Gabungan Melayu Bersatu Demi Islam provided free nasi lemak, air minum, free transport to protest venue and back and duit pocket just like Umno does to try and prop their pathetic numbers the next time they decide to protest in front of Malaysiakini .

 

Boeyks : Are these 20 or so people also subscribers to Malaysiakini ? Instead of gathering under the Peaceful Assembly Act (PAA) and wasting your own and others’ time, a more effective protest against Malaysiakini is to stop your subscription.

 

RCZ : Is it Malaysiakini who is spinning and spreading discord or is it the ruling government? The news portal reports facts. The reader when reading must think and ponder.

CQ Muar : Who is this group of aliens being led by one Ariffin Abu Bakar? With the support of 20-strong paid protesters, he thought he can cause a stir and a storm, but turned out to be just a ripple.

 

Hilarious that one after another such group of ‘protesters’ will appear to make an impact with their intimidations, only to fizzle out just as quickly. Good for a laugh only, I guess. However, nobody is paying the slightest attention to their pranks.

 

Fancy trying their luck against Malaysiakini , of all people! Appears to me, these useless punks are hard up of money to obtain their supply of ‘grass’, which their Umno boss can exploit by paying them to take to the streets!

 

Mushiro : These 20 people voiced their support for PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang but they did not wear the white skullcap. Are Umno people trying to put the blame on PAS? And they do not even know what their complaints are.

 

Disbeliever : Only 20 protesters! Ouch, your master(s) probably couldn't afford to pay more of you to protest. Well, with so much money going down the drain and into pockets of cronies too, is it a wonder that there's only enough money to feed 20 protesters? Laugh out loud.

 

Hey protesters, if you want to earn some pocket money, go do some halal work. Perhaps you can emulate the scouts who on their job week - go out to cut grass and do odd jobs too. But protesting is never part of the scouts' job week.

 

Moontime : When pressed to state which Malaysiakini article they accuse of spinning the news, they were stumped. Obviously their puppeteer forgot to mention that before letting them loose. What nincompoops.

They can joined the present batch of half-baked Umno cybertroopers who are Malaysiakini subscribers. Never mind the broken English as long as Malaysiakini readers can guess what they are writing.
