YOURSAY ‘IGP tried to outsmart himself and has now been badly cornered.’

Show proof when disputing Dr M, PAS tells IGP

Odin: PAS information chief Mahfuz Omar, inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar will not ‘stop the charade' and do his job ‘in a fair, professional, and trustworthy manner'.

First of all, it is clearly not in his character to act in such a way. Second, he has to allegedly protect the party responsible for the brutal murder and gruesome annihilation of the late Altantuya Shaariibuu, or else he will be kicked out of the police force.

What, then, will he be able to do except to set up a stall and sell nasi lemak or burgers? And when that happens, think of all the stuff that he and his family members have acquired on hire purchase - they all will be repossessed. All that just won't do.

Speaking of charade, what did you do Down Under? Did you not speak with convicted murderer Sirul Azhar Umar and find out who ordered him to remove Altantuya? Are you not privy to the matter that his mother intends to whisper into former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad's ear?

It is hard to believe that you have not discussed the matter with Sirul and are unaware of the secrets that will be conveyed to Mahathir. If you asked me, you are also playing out a charade.

So, why don't you start the ball rolling by spitting out all you know? Can or not? Do that, and the fireworks that will ensue will be even better, more spectacular than what you'd witness on Guy Fawkes Day.

Victor Johan: The IGP by himself, or through a friendly Malaysiakini subscriber, would surely have read Lim Kit Siang's demands as to when and who from the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) had met Sirul in Australia, and also read lawyer Americk Sidhu's comments in an earlier article and also all the comments put forth by subscribers of Malaysiakini .

Mr Beloved IGP, we demand of you as a public servant entrusted to lead PDRM, to not just investigate but also provide us with answers.

Mushiro: The IGP tried to outsmart himself and has now been badly cornered. This cocky and arrogant man simply shoots with his mouth off, not realising that he has to defend his statements later.

Negaraku01: Finally PAS said something sensible, besides religion and hudud. Keep up the good work, PAS. And do it more often.

Mohican: IGP, you think by arresting innocent opposition members on sedition charges, you will be become a hero in the eyes of Umno-BN?

Anonymous #533689435: The police force has been given a royal charter but our IGP is disparaging this royal charter by lying in broad daylight.

The lie can be considered a seditious act. Why this man is not arrested and remanded for further questioning?

Umno website: Dr M to attack Rosmah next?

Commentable: Nothing factual ever comes out of these pro-Umno websites, such as MyKMU.net .

If it is not about proof in the Altantuya case, Malaysians all over would not be calling the authorities, especially the police, to conduct a more thorough investigation.

When we see law enforcement agencies and those helming it such as the attorney-general (AG) and IGP side-stepping all the crucial issues like it is some piece of human waste in a soiled toilet, let's not talk about proof to begin with.

The stone walling of the Altantuya case, for example, is so clear and apparent that the people in this country are angry, and Dr M knows that.

So it is not so much that Mahathir is disgruntled, but rather it is the people. They are angry not because Najib is a puppet but because he is a deceitful and dishonest man who does not care two hoots about sending the country down the slippery slope.

And "do Malaysians want a prime minister like that"? The answer must be a resounding "no".

Negarawan: Mahathir has only himself to blame. He was the one who handpicked Najib, partly in gratitude to Abdul Razak Hussein for bringing him back into Umno many years ago.

He was the one that heaped praises on Najib’s wife Rosmah Mansor and even suggested her biography be taught in all schools. Mahathir should just kill off the whole of Umno to ensure that he does not make any mistake again.

Caripasal: In desperation, Dr M is now exposing the reality and the ugly side of Malaysia politics. He is now asking those questions that Malaysians had been asking for decades. Unfortunately, it is now too late to save this country.

Abasir: If Najib has absolutely nothing to do with the killing of Altantuya, what was the need for him to do a ‘sumpah laknat’? Why did both the prosecution and the "defence" jump up to stop any mention of Najib during the trial?

Why didn't Najib and Rosmah sue Deepak Jaikishen for publicly accusing them of masterminding the cover-up involving private eye P Balasubramaniam’s statutory declaration, using lawyer Cecil Abraham?

And now that Americk has linked both Nazim and Johari Razak with the cover-up, why have the two refrained from saying anything? And finally, why hasn't Cecil refuted all published statements linking him with the preparation of the false SD (statutory declaration)?

Firestone: Why the need to counter attack? Just arrest Mahathir under Sedition Act 1948 like you arrest all the others? Habis cerita (end of story)

Headhunter: The MyKMU.net’s article is just a pre-emptive strike. But it's futile because trying to shut Mahathir is like using a bucket to save a sinking ship. Nothing can stop him now.

Besides, he collects Malaysian PM heads as a hobby.
