Cartoonists to draw attention to Anwar, GST
Political cartoonist Zunar will lead 20 independent cartoonists to raise aware ness of issues surrounding jailed opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim and other topics through an exhibition of over 200 works this Saturday.
"Besides Anwar, the cartoons cover issues such as Sedition Act, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Prevention of Terrorism Act (Pota), the prime minister and his wife, private jet and others," said Zunar in a statement today.

Zunar, or Zulkiflee Anwar Ulhaque, possibly holds the record of nine sedition charges for his remarks and his caricatural commentary on various political issues.
His latest book ‘Ros in Kangkung Land’ has yet to be officially launched after authorities foiled his events twice with confiscations and threats of arrest .
This Saturday's exhibition, which will also see Independent Cartoonist Group (Kumpulan Kartunis Independen, KKI) joining in, is part of the 'Selangor Cartoon World - Right to Creativity' programme that will host a number of cartoon-related activities including workshops and children's competitions.
Co-organised by the Selangor government and Petaling Jaya City Council (MPPJ), it will be held at Tasik Taman Jaya, Petaling Jaya from 9am to 6pm.
