Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak does not only has the backing of Sabah Umno, he can also count on the support of other BN components in the state.

Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman (right, in photo below) said state BN leaders conveyed their undivided support for the country's top leader to him during a recent meeting.

"I had a discussion with Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president Joseph Pairin Kitingan and he said he fully supports Najib.

"Other party presidents in the state coalition have also expressed the same," he said at the 'Perhimpunan Solidariti Rakyat Sabah Bersama Perdana Menteri', at Padang Bandaran Tawau, today.

Musa said state BN component parties had always cooperated and agreed on any matter and would collectively resolve any issue that might arise.

Meanwhile, he also called on the people in Sabah to continue giving their support to the country's top leadership.

"The government has given a sizeable allocation to Sabah, aside from a substantial portion for the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) to strengthen security in the state.

"Hence we should be grateful, loyal and give our undivided support to the prime minister who is always sensitive to the needs and wellbeing of the people in Sabah," he said.

Deputy Chief Ministers, Pairin (left in photo) , Yahya Hussin and Raymond Tan Shu Kiah were also present at the rally.

Other state leaders included State Assembly Speaker Salleh Said Keruak, Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Foreign Minister Anifah Aman and Defence Deputy Minister Abdul Rahim Bakri.
