Sunday, May 24, will be a state public holiday to mark Kelantan’s meeting with Lions XII in the FA Cup final in Kuala Lumpur.

Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob said this was to allow Kelantan’s football supporters to return in comfort after watching the FA Cup final match at National Stadium, Bukit Jalil on May 23.

“The Kelantan state government is prioritising the safety of Kelantan football supporters who will watch the match in Kuala Lumpur.

“Drive safely on the road and don't race as you have a lot of time for the return journey,” he said in statement in Kota Baru yesterday.

He advised Kelantan football supporters to show a high sportsmanship spirit while watching the FA Cup final match on May 23.
