PAS MUKTAMAR PAS Youth leadership are cowards for not defending party president Abdul Hadi Awang from DAP attacks, said a delegate at the wing's muktamar.

"In a series of lies which were openly aimed at the PAS president by DAP leaders, it is the PAS Youth leadership who failed to defend the president.

"PAS Youth were mute, this is not the symbol of a good son who watches as his father is insulted. [...] This is not the trait of pious youths but of cowards," Federal Territories delegate Mohd Ridzuan Arifin said in his policy debate.

He then issued a stern warning to all who would oppose Hadi ( photo ).

"To our Pakatan friends, or even foes, PAS Youth will not allow our president to be insulted and challenged. We will do whatever it takes to defend our president," he added, prompting the crowd to shout "Allahuakbar" (God is great).

The Federal Territories PAS Youth, are among four other state divisions which have announced their support for Hadi, including Selangor, Perlis, and Terengganu.

Devils among PAS

"We the Terengganu delegates are very disappointed with the central PAS Youth which did not carry out their God-given responsibility (to defend Hadi)," said Terengganu delegate Raja Arizal Raja Arif.

Meanwhile, Perlis delegate Azahari Osman warned off devils among PAS who continued to spread lies about the incumbent president.

"On the Youth stage, I am very disappointed because there are some PAS members and even leaders who have lidah syaitan (devil's tongue)," he said.

He said Hadi and the Syura council have repeatedly denied speculation of PAS teaming up with Umno, yet the rumour still persists and continues to be spread.

"These are the people who are trying to create chaos among us," he warned.
