Chinese cruise ship death toll rises to 434

The death toll from a Chinese cruise ship that capsized on the Yangtze River last Monday has risen to 434, Xinhua news agency reported.
The rescue headquarters in Jianli in central Hubei province said two bodies were recovered this morning and brought down the number of missing people to eight.
A total of 14 people have been rescued so far.
The Eastern Star carrying 456 people on board was travelling on an 11-day journey along the Yangtze River when it overturned in a tornado last Monday night in Jianli.
