Student activists demand public varsity VCs quit
Gabungan Mahasiswa Islam SeMalaysia (Gamis) has called for the vice-chancellors of the country’s nine public universities to resign, following the Auditor-General's Report 2014 revealing mismanagement of the universities.
"We believe that the mismanagement of the universities was because the vice-chancellors did not follow rules and procedures," Majlis Politik Nasional Gamis chairperson Saiful Mujahid told a press conference in Putrajaya today.
