Trading at KLSE resumed at 2.30pm today after a technical glitch knocked out its computer systems for about 5 hours.
The stock exchange came to a standstill for the whole of this morning due to a computer systems breakdown.
"A system failure was detected this morning and the KLSE Information Technology Division is doing a thorough check immediately to resolve the problem." KLSE said in a statement via its website.
The market has been suspended since 9am this morning.
A KLSE spokesman told malaysiakini at 2.45pm today that all buy orders keyed in earlier had been effected from 2.30pm.
However, she declined to elaborate on the computer breakdown problem.
