: Malaysians are thrilled with the news and are holding their breath with much elation on Pakatan 2.0. I believe that PasMa should also be in it to reinforce the birth of the political party and to lend more credence and clout to a multiracial Malaysian party. May it strengthen and unite all Malaysian.
Fifty-eight years of rule by Umno has left Malaysia tottering with corruption and scandals, cronyism and leaders becoming enriched, whilst the majority of kampung and rural Malays are in the doldrums. Let it be a Malaysia for all Malaysians and outlaw chanting slogans on race and religion with malicious intent.
Doc : Finally, some good news for the nation. It’s been nonstop doom and gloom for the last few months.
P Dev Anand Pillai : Good, this is what we the people would like to see going beyond traditional party confines and making it work for Malaysia. Our diversity is our strength, if we do not realise that, it will be to our detriment.
BernieBaby : Unless an attempt is made for change, we will continue to live with BN and their corruption. One day the oil will run out or technology will kill it off, what then?
When you or part of you fails, you pick up the pieces, reorganize and come back stronger. If one keeps analysing, nothing is going to happen unless action is taken based on sound analysis. So Pakatan, do thorough analysis and plan. Don't listen to quack analysts!
Anonymous_1421406986 : There is nothing wrong in having ulama to serve in political parties. The problems begin when we start seeking their guidance and views on political and worldly issues. When dependence on ulama become boundaryless, they will start interfering and dictating on every matter that pass under their scan.
The fault is with us for not defining a clear separation between religion and worldly matters. Because we see them as defenders, teachers and interpreters of a religion, we freely allow them to take the lead. Once they take the lead we are obviously inviting them to control our lives.
The ulama are not going to leave Pakatan 2.0 alone, expect a deluge of troubles alongside racial stirs from supporters of the original PAS fanned by the ulama. Hadi Awang has already given his fair warning .
Life for Pakatan 2 is not going to be easy or peaceful. The persons to bear the heat will be PKR and DAP who are seen as pagans and trouble-causers. Wish you good minded people all the best in your political endeavour.
Keturunan Malaysia : Hadi, they are on dry land. What about you, still stuck in the mud?
Gu : The word ‘pakatan’ should be replaced please. ‘Gabungan’, ‘solidariti’, ‘civilised rakyat’, etc. I am sure if a page is opened for suggestions, a better name will rise. First do a post mortem on Pakatan Rakyat and make those points listed that cannot be accepted and what can, and define common policy. Anyway thanks to Najib Abdul Razak and Hadi from breaking up Pakatan from the Isis supporters so that a new moderate grouping and party rises.
Isana : Like a phoenix, it rises from the ashes to become stronger and deadlier to its enemy.
CHKS : Breaking fast together is a good sign, but please, please, please don't fight before you even starting out as a team, ya, especially this G18 and PasMa. We are fed up of seeing this kind of fighting.
Whatsup : Perfect photo - muhibbah of equals - our hope, our future. Pakatan 2.0, sieve out the Trojans, the froggers, and those with millions of loans, etc and charge again. We are behind you 100 percent.
Goldee : It is great to see so many of the leaders from the PAS progressives, PKR and DAP sitting together for breaking of fast. We must not give up our struggles to fight against our common enemies and to save our beloved country called Malaysia from decaying further. We must carry on fighting against the tyrants from destroying our country further and to rebuild it for the betterment of our future generations.
Francis_14a3 : Good news to the staunch supporters of Pakatan. Do not procrastinate. Just do it. The sooner the better. From above, the late Nik Aziz Nik Mat will surely guide Pakatan 2.0 to new heights.
Tulan : Thank you, all. All religion is good if the heart is good. Let’s move forward together.
What? Me Worry? : Already made my day with this news. These leaders gather to walk their talk and have a common positive agenda for the betterment of the country. I am truly touched. Thank you, true patriots of Malaysia!
Korkor : They may be losers now but when the time comes, they will be winners and the New Pakatan 2.0 shall rule.
Vent : This is the politics of survival. It’s too soon to celebrate. Wait until the chickens are hatched.
