Police arrested four individuals to help investigate the ruckus at a programme attended by several DAP leaders in Taman Megah Ria, Masai, Johor Baru, on Sunday.

Seri Alam district acting police chief, DSP Norazam Shaari said all the individuals, aged 29 to 54 years, were detained between 1pm and 4.30pm yesterday.

"Investigations are under way to identify other individuals involved in the incident," he said in a statement today.

In the incident last Sunday, some DAP leaders including Gelang Patah MP, Lim Kit Siang, were chased away by a group of individuals when they went to attend the 'kopitiam forum' held in Masai, Johor, to connect with the populace of Ibans from Sabah and Sarawak residing there.    

In the 1pm incident, the group alleged to be supporters of a political party stormed the coffee shop when Johor DAP chairperson Liew Chin Tong allegedly made some provocative remarks.
