YOURSAY ‘Where these two are going, they only serve nasi goreng Ridsect.’

Ridhuan and Isma chief ‘gatekeepers of paradise’

Tholu: This is very interesting indeed. A mortal’s fate with regard to his emplacement in heaven or hell upon his death will also depend on the political party the mortal joins.

This is according to university lecturer Ridhuan Tee and Isma president Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman - the holier-than-thou souls - who seemingly have assumed themselves to possess divine authority to pass judgements and decide on the earthly souls’ and spirits’ destination in the hereafter.

Are they acting God to avow that Umno and PAS are ‘sinless’ parties and DAP is fraught with wickedness and sins?

Can I point out to them the number of people in Umno and PAS who have been jailed for murder, corruption, vice activities and abuse of power? (Of course, I am ignoring the present alleged “sins” of murders and embezzlement of the rakyat’s money that are raging around the 1MDB issue.)

By supporting Umno or PAS, Ridhuan and Abdullah, can you please tell me if I will go to Heaven? For that matter, do you believe that you have secured a place in Heaven by condemning DAP?

Franco: Isn't it a little surprising the both these avengers have not uttered a word regarding The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) revelations? Why so quiet?

Is it because the alleged crime was committed by a Malay Muslim hence it becomes secondary for these morons. Well, they might speak up now since Jho Low, too, has been implicated and since he is neither Malay nor Muslim.

Anyway national laureate A Samad Said (Pak Samad), your choice of joining DAP only shows that in Malaysia, there are still some right-thinking Malaysians who look beyond the racial barriers and that give us hope. Hope for the future.

Jonaremy: I beg to differ with Pak Samad this time, these idiots are no gatekeepers of paradise. They are in fact devils in disguise to bring confusion to the religion and thus deter people from being attracted to Islam.

Haveagreatday: Pak Samad, I bow my head in respect at your eloquent response to these two religious and extremist characters.

Tan Kim Keong: To be blunt and in a polite way which is typical of Pak Samad, he is saying to Ridhuan and Abdullah Zaik, “Janganlah seperti katak dibawah tempurung.”

Turvy: There are too few poets in this country, which is why the likes of Ridhuan get media space. Anywhere else, they would be in some loony bin sucking their thumbs. How can these louts even begin to have a conception of paradise?

Wira: Good Muslims join DAP, like Pak Samad. Those holier-than-thou personalities are cheats, crooks and cronies.

They have a personal agenda to be a gatekeeper. They are all linked to the great Satan as coined by PAS during holier times.

The Analyser: The ‘gatekeepers of paradise’ are the ordinary everyday people who fight to gain and retain what they know is right.

They are the people who fight for the freedoms that the UN Declaration of Human Rights defines. They are the people who fight for equality in every aspect of their lives.

Unfortunately, not many of those fighters exist in Malaysia, partly because they do not recognise those rights and freedoms, partly because they won't fight for anything, and partly because you expect God or Dr Mahathir Mohamad or anyone, just anyone, to take over your responsibilities as citizens of this country.

Social responsibility simply does not exist in this self-obsessed land. If it did, you would be out in the streets right now demanding a proper resolution of the 1MDB fiasco, human trafficking and any number of social crimes.

But you aren't. Instead here you are sitting in front of your computers complaining and criticising and pretending that you are superior to the people around you.

Real Truth: Pak Samad, you are way ahead of these narrow-minded pea brains who bask in false glory. You are a true patriot and a nationalist who loves a true Malaysia.

Tembikai: I don't think Ridhuan will go to Heaven. The minute he allegedly cheated for his promotion and never admitted it, he has lost his chance of going to Heaven. Plagiarism is theft. Theft is haram.

Kongkang Kangkung: In my dream, an elderly man regretted that he should have fed the many cockroaches in his sundry shop one night many years ago, which would now enable the nation to enjoy peace and unity.

Just_A_Rakyat: Malaysians salute you, Pak Samad. A brave action by any account and they are jealous. We are after all just human.

Who among us can say only he has the right path to Heaven. Like all destinations, the routes can be many.

Malaysia Ku: Oh dear me! St Peter has been ousted from his guard-post to Heaven. Oops, sorry, the Big Rock's job is secured. It's the gateway to Hell where Ridhuan and Abdullah

Zaik are the jagas. Sorry, Pete!

RSOH: Paradise? Where these two are going, they only serve kangkong harga jatuh , ayam seringgit and nasi goreng Ridsect.
