The Pro-BN Non-Governmental Organisations (Pro-BN NGOs) coalition has lodged a police report against DAP MP Tony Pua, who claims to have met Sarawak Report editor, Clare Rewcastle Brown, on several occasions.
Yesterday, Pua revealed he had met Rewcastle Brown, who allegedly has ill-intentions against the Malaysian government, several times in Singapore, Indonesia, and London.
Pro-BN NGO coalition president Zulkarnain Mahdar said with Pua's revelation, the authorities should investigate him because the meetings were concrete evidence of Pua's possible involvement on the issue of 1MDB documents.
"We also want Pua to resign as a panel member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) which is involved in investigating 1MDB," he told reporters after lodging a police report at Kota Kinabalu Police Headquarters today.
Zulkarnain said the PAC investigation was confidential and Pua should not be part of the PAC panel.
Pua, however, has denied meeting former executive of PetroSaudi International, Xavier Andre Justo, and former editor of the Sarawak Tribune , Lester Melanyi.
