Show 'em harimau spirit, PM tells Malaysia XI
Malaysia XI will be take on Liverpool FC at the Bukit Jalil national stadium tonight and the national team has received words of encouragement from Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
In a Twitter posting, Najib called on the Malaysian squad, known as Harimau Malaysia, to display their "tiger spirit" when taking on the English premier league team.
"I hope the Malaysian selection plays with determination and spirit.
"Malaysian players show Liverpool the 'semangat harimau' (tiger spirit)," he tweeted.

Malaysia XI coach Dollah Salleh told ESPN that his squad would spring a few surprises during the pre-season friendly match, which marks the end of the Reds Asian and Australian tour.
Two months ago, the Malaysian team was defeated 2-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at the Shah Alam Stadium.
"We want to do well against Liverpool... better than we did against Spurs.
"Hopefully we can match up against a giant team like Liverpool. We will give 100 per cent," Dollah was quoted as saying.
The Malaysia XI squad has five foreigners, including Perak's Brazilian defender Thiago Junior Aquino.
