Indonesian police have arrested the wife of a fugitive Malaysian national accused of masterminding several deadly bombings, including the Bali blasts two years ago, a report said on Sunday.

Munfiatun alias Fitri, the second wife of fugtive Noordin Mohammad Top, was arrested last month under Indonesia's anti-terror law, the Kompas daily said quoting national police spokesman General Paiman.

After a week of intense interrogation, police accused Munfiatun of not turning her husband into authorities despite knowing that he was sought for involvement in several attacks, Paiman said.

She had last seen him a few hours after their marriage in June this year, Paiman said. Since then they had communicated through telephone calls and e-mails.

Police have named Noordin and another bomb-maker Azahari Husin as main suspects in the Bali bomb attack which killed 202 people, the JW Marriot hotel blast last year that killed 12, and a suicide bomb attack on the Australian embassy here last month that killed nine.

They have also warned that the two could be planning a further attack and have prioritised their capture.

Paiman, who could not be reached for confirmation Sunday, said "it turned out that she (Munfiatun) can be declared a suspect in the Marriott bombing case" because she had sheltered Noordin.

Munfiatun had said she believed that the police charges against her husband were unfounded, Paiman said.

Police have announced a one-billion-rupiah reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of Noordin and Azahari.
