Former Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) strategic communications director Rohaizad Yaakob wanted all other graft busters to work as usual, following the surprise transfer of him and former special operations division director Bahri Mohamad Zin.

Responding to the media on his sudden transfer to the Prime Minister's Department, he said he is stunned but will adhere to the order.

"I am shocked about this transfer. (But) I hope all in MACC will work as usual," he told the media when contacted tonight .

Rohaizad received the delegation of opposition leaders yesterday and thanked them for their support.

The transfer order moves him to the Prime Minister's Department, which oversees the anti-corruption commission.

Paul Low ( photo ), the minister which oversees integrity and governance in the Prime Minister's Department, is however unaware of the reason behind the transfer.

The MACC duo's transfer came after Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also the Home Minister, had vouched that there will be no more action taken on MACC investigators.

A source claimed that the two were transferred over "disciplinary issues".

However, Rohaizad seemed calm and said his loyalty is unchanged but politely declined to comment further.

"I will remain loyal with MACC," he said.
