PAS is in the process of collecting evidence on members who are involved with the New Hope Movement (GHB).
Its vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan would be tabling a report on their activities to the party's central leadership soon.
"From there, we will decide on what action we need to take," he told reporters in Kota Baru today.
The Kelantan deputy menteri besar said only PAS' central working committee or its disciplinary committee could act against the "renegades".
In Yan, Kedah, GHB chairperson Mohamad Sabu said thousands of PAS members were applying to become members of the movement because they had become disillusioned with PAS.
Mohamad, better known as Mat Sabu, who lost the No 2 post in PAS's polls held recently, added that GHB's plan to become a full-fledged political party was expected to be settled by Aug 31.
