Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Berhad train services were disrupted by a fallen tree which obstructed the railway track near the Segambut station at about 6pm yesterday.

A KTM spokesperson said due to the mishap, trains using the line were delayed by more than 30 minutes.

“Services resumed at 9.30pm but only one track was in service,” said the spokesperson when contacted by Bernama in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Work on the damaged track would be restored fully by midnight, said the spokesperson.

The Fire and Rescue Department was called in to clear the tree from the track.
