We're with you, BN leaders assure Najib
Fair Play: In BN and more specifically Umno politics, you never say ‘no’ to your boss directly. Instead you say ‘yes’ and ‘yes’ as many times as needed while quietly sticking a knife in his back when he least expects it.
PRS president James Masing, would you stay with the captain when the ship is sinking?
Haveagreatday: "All party presidents assured (our support for him) as prime minister" - that is the prerogative of your parties and if the mandate is such, who am I to dispute it.
Yet, this goes to the core of what is wrong with our country. None in the ruling coalition has the courage to call a spade a spade.
The RM2.6 billion donation to Najib's personal account is not even raised at the meeting - it goes to show how disconnected you leaders are with what the rakyat are concerned about.
Gotcha: We laugh at the leaders of all 12 BN component parties, do they really know what’s happening to our country?
Don't they have someone better to lead instead of letting the country to be driven on autopilot mode? If this continues, all these political parties can close shop in due course.
Clearwater: BN leaders have 2.6 billion reasons to support Najib Abdul Razak, taxpayers have 42 billion reasons not to.
The former hope to share the loot, the latter have no wish to ultimately pay for 1MDB's debts.
Anonymous #12566075: All Malaysians are aware of the present crisis in Malaysia created by Umno, yet not a single component party within BN would raise the issue. Indeed, are they still worth supporting?
Do they (BN) realise and sympathise with the hardships of the rakyat? They are only concerned about their own benefits and interests. Throw all of them out in the coming election.
Imran: “One of the things that Prophet Muhammad taught us is that is it our duty to correct injustices in this world. If you see something wrong, change it with your hands.
“If you are not able to then speak out against it, and if you are not able to do that then feel bad about it in your heart, for that is the weakest form of faith.
“Wherever possible the Muslim should try to take action and not let an injustice go by without calling it what it is and asking for change."
Multi Racial: If there are any Malaysians who still have doubt that other BN leaders are hopeless, this is it. See how pathetic it is.
1) It is confirmed Najib received RM2.6 billion into his own personal accounts.
2) It is confirmed 1MDB has created huge debt exceeding RM40 billion, which could be a burden to the nation eventually.
Najib interfered with investigations by doing the following:
1) Sacked the attorney-general on a short notice
2) Terminate the special task force
3) Attempted to transfer MACC senior officers involved in the investigation
4) Sacked DPM and a senior minister for questioning him about 1MDB
In spite of all this, the other BN leaders have the cheek to announce they unanimously supported Najib and they are confident in his leadership.
Exactly what did they support Najib? Is it they too benefitted from the RM2.6 billion or none of them has the guts to question Najib?
Victor Johan: Of course, the 40 thieves supported Ali Baba to lead them as they have a share in the stolen loot.
We now want to see each and every president of the BN component parties make a public pledge to support Najib as their coalition leader and the PM of Malaysia.
They should also urge Najib to dissolve the Parliament now and get a fresh mandate from the nation's electorates. Why wait any longer?
CQ Muar: What PRS president James Masing’s show of support for Najib signifies is that he is among those who are good at buttering up their bosses for personal gains.
They know that if BN goes, so will their prospects and positions. This is nothing surprising coming from such apple-polishers. Let's just see how long they can go on with their hypocritical acts.
Drngsc: Dear James Masing, the RM2.67 billion has to be raised and clarified. It is a criminal offence because no tax was paid, when tax was due.
The donation could make Najib an agent for a foreign nation, so it would be treason.
And how was the RM2.67 billion spent? Did all the money go to funding GE13's electoral campaign, or was it only 20 percent and the rest go to procuring Birkin bags?
These questions should be raised. We understand that you all don't dare to raise it because you may be scared. So it is okay to break the law and cause to country to suffer as long as you keep your job? What a great leader you are.
Vent: What does one expect from these rats? They die if they leave the sinking ship anyway. Who will throw any of them a life jacket?
Mantra888: Yes, carry on with all these charades and make your own voters look so dumb that when the time comes, you have nowhere to hide. Prepare yourselves for the cruncher.
Eternal Optimist: All chickens follow the rice trail. I just wonder when Sarawakians will take the broom to all of you and consign you to the rubbish heap of history.
