Members of the public will only be able to view the cub of panda bear Liang Liang which was born yesterday at the Giant Panda Conservation Centre here in about two months.

Nonetheless, Zoo Negara Giant Panda Conservation Centre Zoology and Veterinary director Dr Mat Naim Ramli said it depended on the condition of Liang Liang in releasing her baby to be brought to the exhibition room.

“In about two months people can see the baby panda but it depends on whether Liang Liang will release her baby for a while to the exhibition area,” he told a media conference to officially announce the birth of the giant panda cub at Zoo Negara in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Also present were Zoo Negara president Zaharin Md Afif and deputy president Rosly @ Rahmat Ahmat Lana.
