Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his former deputy Muhyiddin Yassin will finally meet on Sept 9, when the Umno supreme council is held.

The meeting is expected to be an awkward one as it will be the first between the two leaders after the prime minister removed Muhyiddin from the cabinet on July 28.
