The business performance in the second quarter of 2015 in Malaysia showed a net balance of +3.8 percent for the number of employees and +2.0 percent for gross revenue.
In a statement today, the Department of Statistics said the services sector recorded positive net balances for gross revenue (+17.5 percent) and number of employees (+11.5 percent) in the second quarter of 2015.
For the third quarter, the department expects gross revenue and number of employees to increase due to the net balances of +13.9 percent and +10.3 percent respectively.
“The confidence indicator also recorded a positive value (+2.3 percent) in the third quarter of 2015.
“The business conditions are also expected to improve in the next six months as shown by the net balance of +15.9 percent,” it added.
