Former MCA president Ling Liong Sik said he understood the feelings of the Pasir Gudang MCA Youth who had cut ties with the Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

If he were young, he would do the same, said Ling.

He said Najib has not given appropriate explanations on many issues, and had even gone to the extent of praising the red shirts rally on 16 September, declaring that it was a peaceful assembly, and this had left the people disappointed at the PM.

Therefore he could understand the feelings of the youth members, according to a Sin Chew Daily report.

"It has been some time that Najib had been asked for explanations, but there are still no answers.

"If I were young, I will also say the same (as the Pasir Gudang MCA Youth)," said Ling during a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.

He also pointed out that, issues such as why the RM2.6 billion political funding that went into a personal account, didn't have any answers till now.

The former MCA chief also urged Najib to stop praising the red shirts rally.
